Part 2.2 Strategic objectives for professional skills
Based on the needs of key stakeholders (see
Annex A
), the following strategic objectives have been established as the priorities for addressing professional skills needs throughout the UK - for the IT industry itself and for employers of IT staff across other sectors. These objectives provide a framework for getting the right people into IT careers, for addressing the changing skills needs of existing IT professionals, and for ongoing assessment of requirements.
The e-skills NTO will lead a UK agenda to deliver:
