Professionals Objective 7: Employer participation

All of the programmes summarised above are only deliverable with extensive employer input and support. It is a strategic imperative of the e-skills NTO to continually expand employer participation in all of its projects, promote the value of involvement to other employers, and to create a strong network of employer membership.

Significant expansion of the range and number of employers working together to tackle these objectives

Programmes:

7.1. Steering Groups: Engage new employers in working on this strategic agenda through membership of the Steering Groups for e-skills NTO initiatives, ensuring wide representation, including size and type of company and regional spread.

7.2. Policy / Consultation Input: Act as consolidator of employer input to and feedback on government policy and consultations to ensure that the collective voice of industry is fully represented.

7.3. Employer champions: Develop and publicise influential employer champions of this work, with examples of direct positive impact on business objectives.

7.4. Network: Continue to expand the network of employers who are members of the e-skills NTO, including running a major employer conference annually with high profile international speakers.

Widespread involvement across all employer types
