E-SKILLS NTO TO LAUNCH IT4ALL INITIATIVE AT SOUTH EAST REGIONAL HEARING

Rt. Hon. John Healey MP, Minister for Adult Skills to open proceedings
Who: e-skills NTO, the national training organization for the information age, in collaboration with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and Berkshire Learning & Skills Council, will launch its IT4all initiative at a South East Regional Hearing in Reading.

Delegates from industry or education who wish to attend can register for the event at www.e-skillsnto.org.uk/IT4all or call . The participation fee is £75 + VAT.

When: Wednesday 26 September 2001. Registration at 9.30 am.
Where: Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Business Park, Reading
What: The IT4all South East Regional Hearing will bring together employers, educators and government to discuss and develop a common agenda for action on IT (information technology) user skills. The hearing will be opened by the Rt. Hon. John Healey MP, Minister for Adult Skills, and facilitated by broadcaster Alastair Stewart. Other speakers include representatives from industry and SEEDA.

The IT4all South East Regional Hearing is supported by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and the Berkshire Learning & Skills Council. The aim of IT4all is to address the demand from employers for improved IT user skills amongst both existing and potential workforces.
