Raising Standards by Setting Standards

The Telecommunications Training Accreditation Scheme is aimed specifically at raising the standards of training course design and delivery. It has the full support of the telecommunications industry in encouraging training providers in 'raising training standards by setting training standards'.

Training programmes that conform to the scheme's rigorous assessment process will be awarded a recognition mark enabling that organisation to display a seal of approval on all associated training certificates and training course materials. Training programmes approved in this manner will be recognised throughout the telecommunications industry as having achieved accredited and authorised status.

The accreditation process covers the following areas:

• Recognition for the Provision of Underpinning Knowledge
• Accreditation of Training Course Design
• Accreditation of a Training Centre
