FMA/AMA Framework Just weeks after taking over the remit of the National Training Organisation for the telecommunications industry, the e-skills NTO released the new Modern Apprenticeship frameworks for Telecommunication Technicians and for the fast growing Call Handling sector. The Telecommunication Technician and Call Handling Modern Apprenticeships (TeleMAt and MAch) have been developed in consultation with industry to encourage enthusiastic, high calibre young people to embark on a career within these two sectors. At the same time the programmes also aim to provide a cost effective, competence based, technical training solution for employers with in-built flexibility to accommodate changing market conditions and technical developments.
