Key Skills have been included in the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship / Modern Apprenticeship and Foundation Modern Apprenticeship / National Traineeship programmes to give candidates the chance to show their ability in the following areas:

• Information Technology
• Application of number
• Working with others
• Improving own learning and performance

e-skills NTO are in the process of developing further key skill material which will incorporate the requirements of Part A of key skills, communication, IT and application of number. This material, together with other adapted material will provide a complete key skill resource package. It is expected this material will be available Spring/Summer 2001.
