Skills Foresight

This project seeks to complete the range of Skills Foresight for the IT industry, UK business employers of IT Professionals and the UK workforce. The project will aim to increase the e-skills NTO's understanding of these communities and aid the NTO response to future skills needs challenges. The project will provide employers, education and training providers, and government with the information they require to understand skill issues and inform strategy.

Following on from a series of successful workshops with the IT Services Industry, we are hoping to conduct short interviews with employers from UK businesses early in 2001, and members are encouraged to register their interest in participating. These would feedback results from recent research and discuss the UK business view future of the IT especially in relation to different sectors of the economy.
