This report focuses on perceptions and the availability of information regarding IT careers. It is based on focus group research and 4 major online surveys which involved employers of IT professionals, HE careers advisers, graduate IT professionals and students. Key findings include students’ approaches to IT planning, students’ understanding of IT careers and their preferred media and events, what careers staff most want from employers and employers recruitment trends.
