This Framework is based on collaborative work undertaken by e-skills NTO and IT Services companies to define an Occupational Map for the sector. The research covers companies operating in the sector, both large and small, and provides a profile of the sector and is being used to inform the development of new and revised occupational standards and qualifications. The resulting study provides an insight into the changing trends in the industry and describes the primary occupations that are key to the distinctiveness of the sector, considering both today’s reality and the foreseeable future.
