Modern Apprenticeship Programme - Wales

The aim of this project was to help address the skill shortages in the IT services sector through the development and implementation of an accessible Modern Apprenticeship programme in Wales. The project has succeeded in engaging new employers in Modern Apprenticeships and creating a sustainable implementation programme. As a result, about 60 existing employees and new recruits are currently working towards achieving a Modern Apprenticeship with partner SMEs in Wales. The delivery partners for the programme are Coleg Glan Hafren, Yale College, The Cad Centre and Bangor College.
