4. DEVELOPMENT PATHWAYS & QUALIFICATIONS

4.1 Development

e-business National Occupational Standards

The e-skills NTO is about to commence a joint QCA-SQA funded project to establish the feasibility of developing the National Occupational Standards (NOS) covering e-business (ie e-commerce, e-government, e-tailing etc). This will involve:

  • defining the scope of the standards
  • identifying areas of overlap/connection with existing NOS
  • identifying areas for priority development

Steering and Working groups are required for this project which could form the basis of a larger development project.
Date and venue details for the initial meeting of the e-business NOS scoping project were:

Wednesday 1st August at 10:30 am in London
(Coffee and registration will be available from 09:30 am. The meeting will close with a buffet lunch.)
