Foundation degree

What are Foundation Degrees?
Foundation degrees are new 2 year qualifications which are below honours degree level. Entry to a Foundation Degree programme will be possible from GNVQ, A/AS level and equivalent qualifications as well as from Advanced Modern Apprenticeships. The new courses are expected to include work experience and to make it possible to progress to a full honours degree with a further 1.3 years full time or equivalent study.
