Geography, Sheffield University |
| Then |
|
Not that long ago really - perhaps then I was a little less 'worldly wise' |
| Where | University of Sheffield. I didn't spend much time in the Geography department but was quite familiar with the whereabouts of the usual Sheffield student haunts. I lived in Broomhill for all three years, first year in Crescent Flats and then two years on Whitham Road. | |
| What | Big fan of Geography field trips. Big fan of the Peak District - climbing, walking, mountain biking. Member of the University Officer Training Corps. | |
| Favorite Haunts | Favorite Haunts: Broomhill Tavern, Nottingham House (alas no longer with us), Bar One, Music Factory, Republic, KiKi's and the occasional trip to Roxy's ( I hang my head in shame) | |

| Current Responsibilities |
I came back from our training centre outside Chicago and joined a project building a call centre for a major car manufacturer and was based in Convent Garden. Through this project I joined a 'line of business' - Service Delivery. I have since moved on to another call centre project based in Chester, working with Marks and Spencer Financial Services
On my current project I am working in a small team which is responsible for testing the system that has been built. I have taken on a specific part of the system and am managing the testing process for it, working with Accenture employees, Marks and Spencer employees and independent IT contractors |

| Clients | Ford, Marks and Spencer Financial Services. | |
| What I Like About Accenture |
The fact that there are few boundaries to the amount of responsibilities that can be taken on early in your career. I you have the confidence and ability, you can find yourself managing others almost immediately.
